Hi! I’m Katherine, a Brooklyn based Product Designer with a background in educational technology and Health startups.
As Product Designer I love exploring color and form to bring ease and evoke joy. I lean into projects that deep dive into user behavior and require a high degree of visual polish.
🎓I graduated with a B.A. in Product Design from UC Berkeley. While there I lead the design for Berkeley Mobile, the primary university resource app used by 10,000+ students.
For a few years I’ve helped startups design MVP apps, landing pages, dashboards, and onboarding to entice users and encourage subscription retention. Working with Skydeck and YC venture backed companies.
In the past, I’ve worked at Noggin at Paramount, where I worked on the Home Page, Parent Dashboard, and User Sign Up redesigns. It was a fun challenge to design for two very different groups of users— 2-7 year old kids and their parents!
Currently I’m the sole designer at Venteur, a series A Health Tech Startup changing the way we structure health insurance.
🪨 Aside from product design, I enjoy climbing, yoga and creating new vessels and forms out of clay. I believe an active body feeds an active mind.
Currently mentoring design students and reviewing portfolios, recovering from running the Brooklyn Half Marathon 🏃🏻♀️, and teaching ceramic workshops around NYC.
